San Diego Bay Wine & Food Fest may be the best ticket(s) of the year for food lovers in San Diego & beyond! A week of events keeps fest-goers busy and fed. The litany of events included lectures, intimate lunches, cocktail parties, icon dinners, taco competitions and more! This fest had something for ANYONE who loves food.
We only had time to attend three of the highlighted fun; Sustainable Seafood Lecture by the Berry Good Food Foundation, the Dinner with Culinary Icons (Marcus Samuelsonn, Rick Moonen, Rick Bayless, Javier Plascencia, Andrew Spurgin, Bernard Guillas, Aron Schwartz) and Party After Dark with Season 13 Top Chef contestants (Giselle Wellman, Chad White, Karen Acunowicz, Marjorie Meek-Bradley). We were not disappointed.
If you haven’t gone to the events other than the Grand Tasting, you are really missing out! These peripheral events let everyone get a chance to get up close and personal with the chefs.
