Mainly Mozart, a month long, musical celebration commences on June 2nd with performances from Tijuana to Rancho Santa Fe with the theme, “Beauty Through Adversity”. The classical music festival goes through June 25th.
Music lovers can look forward to performances by some of the country’s most accomplished principal players from distinguished orchestras and concertmasters, five spotlight chamber music concerts, lectures on the impact of music on the brain, and a showcase concert by the youth orchestra with special guest pianist, Anna Polonsky.
As a special treat for the third year, the festival will include the FREE, family-friendly concert San Diego Makes Music, at the Spreckels Organ Theatre in Balboa Park. This fun and unique concert invites and encourages the audience to participate and play along.
A Cur8eur favorite of the festival is the very special and exclusive offering of the Club Amadeus Encore event in Northern Baja and Mexico’s wine region. This is a limited opportunity but an amazing experience that includes music, food, and wine over two days of guided, luxury adventure.
