Lily Tomlin has worked very hard at making the world laugh over the last five decades but she has had another very important passion; animal welfare. She has used her voice to be a proponent for the fair treatment of animals, pets, elephants, chimps and the like! At the Saturday evening Petco Foundation Hope Gala, Lily Tomlin represented the Actors and Others For Animals with other celebrity guest funny pals, President of Actors and Others for Animals, JoAnne Worley and supporter and friend, Fred Willard.
Co-emcee’s Dan Cohen and Nichelle Medina of San Diego’s News 8 led the attendees along as they raised awareness and funds for the Petco Foundation’s efforts.
