Plans are well under way for the Beach and Country Guild’s Annual Calendar of Events! The newly elected board is charging forward with their efforts to raise money for their singular cause, Cerebral Palsy. Ladies from all around San Diego gathered at the house of long time Guild member, Sue Hoffmeister, in Rancho Santa Fe on Wednesday, March 2nd, to celebrate 43 years of Dia Del Sol benefiting United Cerebral Palsy. The meeting was an introduction of new members to the Beach and Country Guild. The morning started out with a beautiful brunch and social hour provided by the Guild members.
Once the meeting began, new members were greeted and standing members introduced themselves to tell their stories of their participation in the all volunteer organization. The flood of heart-felt anecdotes warmed over the room and gently reassured the new members that indeed they had made a good choice in joining this group of determined ladies.

Also on the agenda for the meeting were the activity announcements of upcoming calendar events.

Rancho Rags for Riches Rummage Sale : April 16th at the Fairbanks Plaza in Rancho Santa Fe 7am – noon
The Beach & Country Guild’s ‘Rancho Rags for Riches’ Rummage Sale benefiting United Cerebral Palsy of San Diego, and in partnership with Windermere Exclusive Properties & Metro Wall Works will be held on Saturday, April 16th, from 7:00am-12:00pm.
Taking place at Fairbanks Village Plaza, the Rummage Sale will feature clothing, household items, electronics, small appliances, and indoor/outdoor furniture. Those interested in contributing items can pre-arrange for a pick up on Wed., April 13th or items can also be dropped off on Thursday, April 14th, and Friday, April 15th.

2nd Annual Ladies Spring Golf Classic at Santa Luz Golf Club, May 9th.
The 2011 Golf Classic will be Monday, May 9th, from 10:00am-5:00pm, the Beach & Country Guild will present a fabulous day of golf, awards, post-play reception and dinner and a few fun surprises to benefit San Diego’s United Cerebral Palsy Assistive Technology Center.
