After the recent foie gras dinner, Kitchen 4140 , community-centric farm-to-table restaurant in San Diego’s Bay Ho neighborhood, has announced plans for monthly craft beer dinners and monthly wine-paired dinners throughout the remainder of 2015, launching with one of each style of prix fixe occasion this February.
Check out the following scheduled dinners.
Thursday, February 12: Kitchen 4140 will co-host a Dobbes Winemaker’s Dinner, pairing Oregon wines from Joe Dobbes Wines with six courses of Executive Chef Kurt Metzger’s farm-to-table fare. Beginning at 6 p.m. and priced at $100 per guest (not including tax/gratuity), this evening will feature guest speaker Joe Dobbes, owner and winemaker at the featured winery.
Thursday, February 26: Kitchen 4140 will partner with San Diego brewer Karl Strauss for a prix fixe dinner beginning at 6 p.m. and priced at $75 (not including tax/gratuity). Each of the six courses will offer a Karl Strauss craft beer paired with Chef Kurt Metzger’s creations, resulting in an evening highlighting fresh flavors alongside beers from one of San Diego’s foremost breweries.
“#dining is as much about the food, the flavors and the drinks as it is about being an occasion to socialize,” said Chef Kurt Metzger, Owner and Executive Chef of Kitchen 4140. “Being a restaurant so connected to our community, it gives us a lot of joy to offer dining events that give guests an opportunity to enjoy great food and meet other foodies.”
Tickets to Kitchen 4140’s prix fixe dinners can be made by calling the restaurant directly at (858) 483-4140 or purchasing tickets in-person (ahead of time) during a visit to Kitchen 4140.
