El Chingon, Gaslamp Quarter Club, San Diego

Jumping Back to 1920’s

The guys that brought Meze Fusion Grill to the Gaslamp Quarter are barreling through the San Diego food scene with a throwback to the 1920’s in their upcoming concepts. A key in each of these new restaurants is the fun factor! These are some seriously energized folks looking to inject a new level of fun and play into your nights out.

El Chingon Bad Ass Mexican will step up California Taco Shop fare in a venue outfitted with tongue in cheek humor, typical Mexican motifs, images of an old fashion Mexican cantina of the wild west in the elegance of beautiful lighting, Catrina statues and a lovely bar with a decent selection of mezcals. (You know how much we love mezcal.) Oh, they’ll have tequilas, sotols and all the rest too.

Bottle service VIP booths will be ready to reserve in the mezzanine where you can cozy up to see the view of the rest of the restaurant next to the DJ’s crows nest. The artwork throughout with hints of outlaws abound is somehow beautiful with it’s glossy finishes. If you really wanna make a splash though, reserve the window seat. It is one LARGE booth that opens up to Fifth Avenue where all those people waiting outside can see all the fun you’re having inside.

The El Chingon Grand Opening LONG WEEKEND will ensure guests will have an experience FULL of big and little surprises they won’t soon forget. If you want to be a part of this unforgettable Grand Opening Kickoff on Thursday evening, RSVP at ElChingon.com before they are at capacity!

See you at the party!
