South Coast Plaza presented the designer runway show for the 2012 Art of Fashion benefiting the many organizations supported by the Country Friends Thursday in the posh village of Rancho Santa Fe, California. Guests included all the relevant and fashionable ladies of style including Sally Thornton, Lee Goldberg, Jeanne Jones, Sandy Redman, Denise Hug, Country Friends President Marci Cavanaugh, Event Chair Karen Hoehn & Co-Chair Suzanne Newman. 2012 honorees were long time supporters Connie McNally of McNally Company Antiques and Jean Newman, who has held every position at the Country Friends and currently is the  Consignment Manager.

Thankfully a slight breeze cooled down the ever melting painted ladies (myself included) while we soaked up the incredible production of the runway show put on each year on the front lawn of the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. The models were beaming with beautification from the couture designer clothing and accessories dripping from them. Always a memorable experience, the fall showcase always leaves me wondering how on earth I am going to incorporate all the styles into my coming seasonal fashion sense.

A big hand to the hard working crew that creates this spectacular fashion extravaganza each year. Well done. Can’t wait for next year! Number 58, right? wow.
