BRUNCH STORIES
Brunch is sorta a big deal in sunny San Diego. What’s your favorite childhood breakfast dish?
Chef David Warner (Corporate Executive Chef for Eat.Drink.Sleep. including JRDN & Decoy)
“My favorite breakfast dish was my mom’s signature “egg in a cup”. It is a soft boiled egg that is mashed up a little with torn white bread toast and topped with butter, salt and pepper. I’m a breakfast traditionalist at heart and my breakfast menus always include a simple, basic breakfast with eggs, toast and a breakfast meat.”
