No Passport Needed – Baja Chefs On The Point

One small school in Point Loma is responsible for educating a good-sized population of our military’s children in the area. As many San Diego parents know, it takes extra funds raised by the school’s PTA to sustain what once was a standard curriculum in schools. Dewey Elementary does not have a parent audience that has an abundance of disposable income, so one good neighbor thought he should do something to help the school. Jim Seman, a member of the local Optimist Club, gathered his connection of chefs and wine purveyors to produce an afternoon of food, wines and beers at Point Loma’s Stone World Bistro & Gardens Sunday, October 18th from 2PM – 6PM.

The six Baja chefs – Flor Franco • Martin San Roman • Bianca Castro-Cerio T • Chef Priscilla Curiel • Andrew Spurgin • Erick Alcazar – participating in the event are well-known for their love of Baja cuisine, produce and wines and with the help of the participating Valle de Guadalupe wineries (Adobe Guadalupe, Villa Montefiori, Monte Xanic, La Lomita and Vinícola Torres Alegre y Familia), this showcase event will allow them to contribute to building a new Math & Science lab for the kids.

Tickets are available for $150 here or by contacting Jim Seman directly, jim@seawestproperties.com.
