Hangar 8 in Santa Monica will be the site of The Grand Tasting Los Angeles of the Latin Food Fest on Saturday, March 21st, 2015. With a smattering of offerings from Latin restaurants, chefs, artisanal foods makers and renowned purveyors of Latin wine and spirits, The Grand Tasting Los Angeles will be an afternoon of grand proportions.
Guests will be immersed in a sensory experience to include live music from the Martini Kings and a spectacular art showcase from Alexander Salazar Fine Arts. The beautiful, Venezuelan model, Le Cordon Bleu Chef Tati Polo will emcee the festival as a wonderful representative of Latin culture. In her domain attendees will experience first hand the food, a Grand Wine Tasting and a Spirits of Americas Lounge of mexcal, sotol, tequila, bacanora and rums from every region.
“It’s still difficult to sample every delicious Latin flavor the Los Angeles region has to offer but Grande Tasting nails it,” said Festival Executive Director Richie Matthews, who also serves as President of DIÁLOGO Public Relations, which produces the festival. We will have Mole Oaxaqueño, Puerto Rican Ropa Vieja with Tostones, Venezuelan Arepas, Brazilian BBQ, Spanish Jamon, Baja Oysters, Birrieria, Barbacoa, Pastries and Cuban Coffee, Smoked Salmon Ceviche, Gourmet Columbian Style Hot Dogs, Cochinita Pibil, Hand-Pressed Tortillas, Torta Ahogada, Acai Bowls, Empanadas, Ice Cream and so much more!”
