It’s Going to be FOIE. KING. EPIC.
You have probably already seen the familiar image of the chef hands (Image from Bite Club Eats) from the rapidly circulating SF Eater article Just two days after the news that the foie gras ban was lifted, 12 of San Diego’s TOP CHEFS decided on a special collaboration to celebrate the debut of foie gras after the two year commercial ban. After more chefs wanted in, Chef Daniel Barron (previously the Executive Chef of La Valencia) decided that a second location needed to be added to accommodate the chefs in waiting!
On January 26th & February 2nd, approximately 40 lucky foodies will be privy to this foie gras collaboration of culinary talent in teams of two for each course for a total of 6-7 foie gras courses. Tickets will be sold at $150 per person with proceeds benefiting Collaboration Kitchen.
