THE GRAND TASTING VILLAGE… food, drinks, dancing and celeb chefs!
The Embarcadero Marina Park North will be the place to be on Saturday, September 13th with a star-studded Latin culinary extravaganza! The Latin Food Fest will host 100 restaurants, chefs, artisanal foods makers and renowned wine, beer and spirit purveyors. Dedicated pavilions at the Grand Tasting Pavilion will focus on specific topics ranging from Wine Tasting & Pairing to Beer Garden, a ¡Taste TJ! Street Food Pavilion and a Spirits & Craft Cocktail party where mixologists and distillers will share samplings of Bacanora, Mezcal, Pisco, Pulque, Rum, Sotol and Tequila.
Food Network chef host George Duran will emcee the event, while world renowned chefs, authors and culinary personalities will be conducting 45-minute segments on the Culinary Demonstration stage, including Baja chef Roberto Alcocer and the renowned chef Richard Sandoval, who is one of the top restaurateurs with over 35 concepts spanning the globe, including Venga Venga in Chula Vista. Afterward, attendees will have a chance to exchange personal words and receive a signature with the rock stars of the culinary world at the Book Signing.
Dancing is encouraged for all! Latin jazz/classical/Latin pop sensations QUATTRO will entertain, while guests peruse an art show and a silent auction of culinary supplies and memorabilia, benefiting non-profit partner Feeding America.
GET YOUR VIP TICKET and get the party started with early admission & access to the “VIP Playa”! Each guest will get special swag, full pours of reserve wine, premium spirits and craft beer, mind-blowing bites and hand rolled cigars in a lively beach setting.
