Bitter Brothers Brewing Turns One!

With all the many breweries in San Diego, it’s quite a feat for them to successfully keep the doors open. The only way to do that is to be making great beer that people like to drink and the folks at Bitter Brothers have managed to do just that.


For all you HOPHEADS, the weekend of January 21st & 22nd will be a weekend of festivities at Bitter Brothers and you’re invited. Brewer John Hunter has been working on a special edition of Little Sister; a Woodford Reserve, barrel-aged brew that he’ll present to the world on Saturday with their first ever Bottle Release. The party starts at noon and goes until 5pm. Bottles of the new release is available for reserve on the Bitter Brothers online store.

Claim your throne as Master of the Cornhole and giant Jenga universe while sipping on some very special sours from the Family Tart Bar. Past favorites like the pink guava, prickly pear, el corazon, white peach and pineapple will make an appearance for the day.

Each beer purchase gets you a raffle ticket to enter to win Bitter Brothers tees and hats.

If you work up an appetite defending your title, Mastiff Sausage Company will be at your service to keep you fed.

Chef’s Dinner

Sunday night kicks off another in the dinner series Bitter Brothers hosts. They’ve invited five chefs to put together a progressive, five course meal utilizing and pairing perfectly with a different beer each. Event starts at 5pm with a reception of passed appetizers before moving on. The new, Little Sister bottles will be offered to guests at half price and will benefit Feeding San Diego.

This intimate event is open to just 50 guests. Get up close and personal with some of San Diego’s most inspiring chefs. Tickets are $70 per person and can be purchased on the website.
