La Jolla was flooded with a fashionable frenzy of fashionistas, creatives, designers, couture craved, film directors, actors, stylists and OF COURSE photogs. The red carpet was laid out in true celeb style on Friday and Saturday evening of last week. Just another summer event in the gorgeous confines of La Jolla, the jewel.
The La Jolla Fashion Film Festival, the world’s largest gathering of fashion filmmakers, now in its fourth year has become the event of the year for the fashion film community.
Award winning films such as Lillith, Mine, Pasos de Sirena, Alter Ego, Roshambo, Freodom, Fugue and Jailbreak were just a few of the many that were screened and praised at the La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art on Prospect just a stones throw from the Pacific. Filmmakers from China to Spain attended giving a nod of recognition to the power of fashion in the art scene.
