The Lodge at torrey pines Hosts Celebrate the Craft

Each year true food lovers are invited to attend a glorious event of well-curated dishes from some of the area’s most talented. Restaurant teams and purveyors of fresh produce are paired in order to delight guests with potentially the best small bites of the year. Wine, spirits and brews are spattered about the verdant lawns of The Lodge overlooking the famed Torrey Pines Golf Course, just atop the la jolla Bluffs.

FAVORITES OF THE AFTERNOON – Chef Antonio Friscia’s (Don Chido) Guajillo Mojo Pork | Chef Jason Knibb’s (Nine-Ten) Curried Lamb shoulder | Windrose Farm’s Fresh Apple Cider

The afternoon was sweltering but the crisp cups of fresh pressed, ancient, apple variety cider and refreshing lemonades cooled the senses enough to continue on. (Insert the vision of a wilting woman here.) The chefs were jovial and attendees exuberant of the day. If you have not attended Celebrate the Craft, Chef jeff jackson, Executive Chef of A.R.
