9:00 am - 4:00 pm
On July 7, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m., Waterfront Park will transform into a Taste of San Diego. Not just a festival,
the event is truly a confluence of our San Diego’s vibrant culinary, artistic and
adventurous culture. Visitors will be surprised to see the locally made creations,
authentic flavors, and unique experiences only found here, in San Diego. This event is
free and open to the public!
San Diego is famous for being America’s favorite vacation destination; but what many
visitors may not know is that San Diego is also home to thousands of visual and culinary
artists who use our immense coastal beauty as inspiration for creation.
Beyond Seaport Village and the airport gift shops, many visitors are immune to the local
cultures’ thriving marketplace. It’s impossible to sample all that our city has to offer in a
short trip, especially with hub spots like North Park and Encinitas being a far reach from
the idyllic Embarcadero District where most tourists spend their free time.
Taste of San Diego is designed not only for the public, but for these businesses rooted
in creative endeavors with ample gifts to share. This event will unify local artisans and
craftsmen, culinary delights both sweet and savory, and representatives from local tours
and experiences to share the unique opportunities for adventure throughout the city and
Indeed ample Farmers Markets are located throughout San Diego; however, many are
lacking the ambiance of relaxing on the bay in the coastal breeze with friends and family.
Facilities will be available, as well as a dining area to enjoy all that is found.
21+ attendees will have a chance to sample craft brews, while kids and families will find
locally designed youth clothing and toys, along with pet accessories, skin care and
wellness products, beachwear and accessories, and other home-related goods. There is
truly something for everyone!
Waterfront Park is located at 1600 Pacific Hwy in downtown San Diego (92101).
