St. Germaine Children's Charity
St. Germaine Children’s Charity invites the community to attend the nonprofit’s 34th annual Silver Tea on Tuesday, December 5 from 1 – 4 p.m., held at a private La Jolla estate. Since St. Germaine’s inception, this unique holiday event has raised more than $4.5 million to support child welfare charities. The 2017 Silver Tea will once again gather philanthropic guests to provide the critical funds to benefit the abused, neglected and at-risk children in San Diego County.
Each year approximately 400 guests attend. During this year’s traditional and elegant afternoon tea, guests may tour the festively decorated and historically significant home of hosts Michelle and Brett Lanuti while bidding on an array of auction items. An additional feature will be the sale of holiday plants for hostess gifts or guests’ home décor.
More than 50 prizes will be auctioned including deluxe accommodations in Kauai, Hawaii; a two night stay at Casa del Zorro; a four-night stay in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; staycations at La Valencia Hotel, the Pantai Inn and The Grande Colonial; hotel sailing excursions; golf outings and lessons; and more.
Tickets for the tea are $100 each. Opportunity drawing tickets are $20 each, three for $50 or eight for $100. Holiday plants are $18 each. To purchase tickets or for more information visit www.stgermainechildrenscharity.org.
