About the Keynote Artist:
Pastor YaNi Davis, is a graduate of Claremont School of Theology with her Masters of Divinity. She is also a graduate of Spelman College, a top HBCU in Atlanta, GA, with an English degree. She has always been passionate about the impact of words, storytelling and truth-telling and the power they posses. She lives by the scripture, John 1:1. She believes, by using her divinely inspired words she is able to heal herself while inspiring others to do the same. YaNi believes firmly in our power as storytellers and sets this example everyday of her life, whether through the music she creates, the spoken word pieces she shares, the sermons she preaches or the wisdom she imparts into others, YaNi continues to exemplify authenticity and integrity.
YaNi has a deep commitment to the progress and transformation of youth. She does this work through serving as a preacher, prophet, poet and pastor. YaNi has a way of sharing the timeless message of the good news with a modern Hip-Hop flare. She mixes her witness with Wisdom, Hip-Hop with Hymns, the Spirit with songs and leads the global village in movement for Peace, Love, and Justice.
YaNi is the founder of The Peace People’s movement and hopes to continue impacting the world with spirit-filled messages of freedom, love, liberation, communalism and peace! YaNi has been a featured speaker, preacher and teaching-artist around the United States, throughout Europe and Asia. She has shared the stage with top performers, theologians, creatives, and influencers around the world, an honor that she does not take lightly. YaNi has spoken in venues from University settings, to churches, coffee shops and clubs as her message is one for everyone invested in growing in the teachings of Micah 6:8.
YaNi currently resides in Los Angeles, California, but continues to call Atlanta, GA and Queens, NY home. She is a humble vessel; a scholar, a seer, and steward with a heart for all people. YaNi is the essence of Peace Personified and continues to exude authentic qualities of what it means to be this generation’s griot and storyteller! Now, thats peace! (John 14:26-27)
Expressing Your Truth Presenter: YaNi Davis

Creating a Compassionate Space for Speaking Truth Presenters: Dale and Shelly Suggs
A small group experience in open sharing of deep struggle, hidden pain and other difficult emotions will allow participants to practice speaking truth. Whether you need to be heard or long for deeper understanding, this workshop will expand our capacity for creating a space where all is held.
(MORE TO COME!)
Continuing Education Units Available: This event is approved by the PSWR for .5 CEUs.
Cost: $30-60 includes lunch All are welcome. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. We want everyone to come and we ask your support for this educational and outreach ministry. Monies received will go to reimbursement for costs related to hosting our keynote speaker (travel from LA, 2 night-stay in San Diego, meals, and honorarium), catered lunch (about 12 dollars/person), refreshments, and publicity expenses for the event. We believe the value of this experience, especially for those receiving CEUs, ranges up to $60, but we know that would be prohibitive for everyone God is calling to a day of healing and wholeness. We also know that there are many who have the means and would be happy to help underwrite the registration costs of those who don’t have the means right now. Eric Law calls this practice “GracEconomics.” All are called to give as led by Grace. Don’t let cost hinder your participation in this experience of freedom and peace.
Payable in with cash, checks or online donation the day of the event
