Chef Anthony Sinsay of Jsix Restaurant will be hosting “Kain-Na,” a multi-course dining experience produced in partnership with the Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce that will explore the progression of Filipino food history. Chef Sinsay will be joined by local chefs and Chef Celebration San Diego scholarship recipients Tara Luansing Monsod, Jordana Francisco, and Justin Castillo. Join this team of incredible chefs on Wednesday, October 25 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. The dinner will be broken up into four courses, each course giving guests insight into a particular era of Filipino history. All proceeds from Kain-Na will go toward the Chef Celebration Foundation of San Diego, a nonprofit organization that offers annual scholarships to 12 local chefs. This unique dining event is priced at $90 per person and includes a hosted after-dinner cocktail on Hotel Solamar’s stunning rooftop, Upper East Bar.
