Chef Javier Plascencia opens a new take on Thai food in Plaza Rio’s Food Garden with a POP UP on Thursday, February 18th in Tijuana. The restaurant, Khao San, inherits its name from a famous district in Bangkok, Thailand that was once the major rice market area. Nowadays, the area is famous for explorers and backpackers to find an economical spot to lay their head and grab good Thai grub from the street stalls.
Javier, considered a local to both cities of San Diego & Tijuana, will host the event alongside two local breweries, Wendlandt Cerveceria & Insurgente. For more info and to purchase a ticket to the event, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is limited for the event and is $40pp.
