Animalón, Ensenada Beer Fest, #SouthBayUprising
On the Radar
On March 10th, Animalón, the summer pop up series kicks off for it’s second year at Chef Javier Plascencia’s Valle de Guadalupe property, Finca Altozano. Chef Plascencia’s pop up restaurant takes place under a 100 year old oak tree surrounded by Magoni vineyards. The experience is magical.
New to the Animalón family this season is Chef Oscar Torres, whose pedigree of influence is quite impressive. Most recently he hails from Acre, an exclusive boutique resort in San Jose del Cabo with a focus on local resources. He will certainly fit right into Valle de Guadalupe’s culinary scene.
Dining takes place Thursday – Sunday with 2 seatings per evening; 5:30pm & 8:00pm. The prix fixe, 6 course dinner is $75pp with the option to add the wine pairings for $35pp.
