Gently Loved Handbags Needed for FACE Foundation
Who can resist the FACE of a cuddly furry friend? The FACE Foundation is hosting a fantastic event at a private estate in Rancho Santa Fe, California. Come hear about a wonderful organization that allows owners the opportunity to save the lives of their pets when put into a financially and emotionally taxing situation.
On Sunday, May 1, 2011, fashion loving women and girls will gather together at a beautiful private Rancho Santa Fe estate to bid on an array of new and gently pre-loved designer handbags. Attendees will turn their fabulous fashion sense into dollars and cents for pets for the FACE Foundation supporting pets in dire need of emergency veterinary care.
Mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends will be joined by Honorary Chair Lisa Pavin, wife of pro golfer Corey Pavin. The Pavins are loyal supporters of the FACE Foundation. Lena Evans is Chairperson of the event.
Youth Co-Chairperson Maranda Phillips, 12, has raised almost $5,500 for the FACE Foundation through sales of homemade holiday decorations. Additional Co-Chairs are Missy Cameron, Ellise Coit, Gina Jordan, Sherry Kline, Cini Robb, and Lorraine Surnamer.
About the FACE Foundation:
Established in 2006 by veterinarians and community members, The Foundation for Animal Care and Education (FACE) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, whose mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life of animals. In what is being labeled as “economic euthanasia”, beloved companions are left to suffer or are euthanized when their owner cannot afford the often-unexpected cost of life saving treatment. FACE works to prevent this tragedy by providing financial grants to pet owners in need. www.face4pets.org
