The Excursion

MEET TIME: 8:45AM | AT: OLD TOWN TROLLEY STATION

We leave PROMPTLY at 9AM. Please plan accordingly for your drive time to Old Town considering traffic from your home.

The trip will begin as you board the passenger van at the Old Town Trolley station. We will then drive across the border along the coast for an hour and a half scenic ride south towards Ensenada on the well-maintained toll road. Just before entering the city limits, we will head east to drop into the uncorrupted, natural beauty of Valle de Guadalupe. Gourmet snack and drinks will be provided during the ride.

We will explore two wineries where we will taste the premium wines and go on an intimate tour with the wine makers and owners of the wineries. This is NOT the regularly available wine tastings. This upgraded experience is what sets this tour apart from the rest. Chef Claudia will be including some very special surprises during the winery visits.

From here, we will head to the famed Finca Altozano for our late lunch where you will discover the flavors of Baja’s signature cuisine of the freshest, highest quality, local products available per the season.
