Sunday Cocktail Recipe – The Paloma

Summer, Summer, Summertime…. is playing in the background and what comes to mind is that I’m missing something. A COCKTAIL!

Paloma-ingredientsI have the most beautiful grapefruits and a new container of agave nectar and this brings me to choosing an afternoon Paloma. This is such an easy cocktail recipe to make and is perfect for a chill, summer afternoon.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 grapefruit juice (fresh squeezed is the best if you have it)
  • 1 tsp. agave nectar
  • 1/4 cup of tequila
  • 1Tbs. lime juice (again… fresh squeezed)
  • ice
  • soda water

Cur8eur ONLINE, a gal and her fork recipe, The PalomaSalt rim half a glass and set aside.

Put all the above ingredients except soda water into a shaker and shake VIGOROUSLY! Add ice cubes to your salt-rimmed glass and pour content of shaker into your lowball glass. Top with soda water to your liking.
